Successful presentation in Melbourne!
Lamine Dieng, Université Gustave Eiffel, participated in the 13th International Conference on Mechanics, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering (ICMMM 2026) in Melbourne, Australia.
Together with Professor Desai from Tshwane University of Technology, they had the opportunity to present the Master’s research work of Rucille Ramlal entitled “An Efficient Approach for Modelling the Dynamic Torsional Behaviour of a Complex Marine Power Cable.”
This work focuses on the development of an efficient modelling strategy to better understand and predict the dynamic torsional response of marine power cables, which is a key challenge for the reliability and durability of offshore renewable energy systems.
This successful presentation was awarded Best Presentation in Session 4. This recognition highlights the quality of the research conducted by the student and the strength of the collaboration between academia and industry.
